Windsurfer Hotel, Myrtle Beach

The hotel had a convenient location, just a few blocks from the beach and close to amusement rides and arcades. The rooms were equipped with refrigerators, stoves, and microwaves, but cleanliness could be improved on lower floors. The service was good overall, but there were issues with access to rooms. The dining experience needed furniture updates, but buttery croissants were a highlight. The facilities were decent but had some shortcomings.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms had a big hole in the wall when I came in, and they were full of wood shavings from my last visit. On the positive side, the location was great with easy access to attractions and restaurants, just seven blocks to the boardwalk. The staff was accommodating and even had a jacuzzi tub in the room. However, dining was a letdown, especially in our suite where the furniture needs a serious update.

The hotel had clean and comfortable rooms, though the bathroom needed more attention. The corner oceanfront room had obstructed views due to a palm tree, and the bedroom's dehumidifier was noisy. Despite the funky smell, the beds were cozy. For the price paid, it was a mixed experience.
